Here at Cumbres Adventure Tours we strive to supply clients with a safe experience both on and off the snow. COVID-19 has been a challenge for us and many others throughout our industry. So here is a breakdown of what we are doing to keep employees and clients safe:
Tours:
We are limited to 25% or 10 people per guided tour based on state/county risk levels at this time. You can see the current standings for all Colorado counties here: Colorado STATS.
We have limited our offered adventures to 3 guided tours this year with no more than 10 people per group. This helps us keep the number of people we see in a day lower so we can allow proper disinfecting of equipment between groups. This also helps us ensure our guides and office staff stay safe and healthy so we can continue to ride throughout the whole season!
Rental Equipment:
We do still provide helmets, boots, and bibs with every reservation, however, we highly encourage you to bring your own gear if you have it!
All of our equipment is sprayed down and disinfected with an EPA registered hospital grade disinfectant and on EPA's recommended list N for COVID-19 at the end of every tour and before we close for the day.
Waivers:
We had added an additional COVID-19 Waiver to our requirements for riding with us. This can be found on our website to complete online. Everyone who will be on Cumbres Premise will be require to complete this form. Those going out on tour will also have to complete our winter release form.
Both our Winter Waiver and COVID-19 Waiver are accessible online so each participant can fill it out ahead of time! We do have hard copies for those who do not complete it online prior to your adventure.
Cancellations Due to COVID-19
If someone in your group is running a fever of 100.4 or higher please contact us prior to your adventure. We will reschedule your group for another time when everyone is healthy! Please contact us at (719)376-2161 if anyone is feeling unwell in your group. The safety of our clients and guides is our upmost priority this season.
